The vision of the department is to enrich students with an overview of Bodo literature and folk literature, and knowledge about the characteristics of Bodo language and linguistics.
The department aims to impart knowledge on language and literature through innovative teaching and learning, as well as to promote awareness about literary theory, literary trends, culture and tradition of Bodos and its history.
